I purchased the music box prior to the birth of my 1st child, thinking it would be a great thing to use.  Since bringing home Maisie I did not use it for the first couple of days, as I needed batteries, but once it was ready to go I have not turned back.  

I love it and so does Maisie (5 weeks).  I am lucky for her to make it through the first tune before she is off to sleep.  She also focuses on the flashing light, which I think assists with her dosing off.  I found the music box reflected my hospital experience, Maisie slept well during the day as there was always noise, but at night when it was quiet she wouldn't sleep too well.  

She enjoys the music and it helps her to sleep very quickly.  I am that impressed with the music box I am purchasing 3 more for girlfriends that are expecting.  I did not want to use a dummy to help her sleep and at this stage I have not had to use it.

I recommend the product to any parent!!!  Really words can't explain how great it is, you have to buy and use it for yourself!!!

 

 

 

 

 

 This is a brilliant product. It is very comforting to know it is in the nursery, like having a friend for my baby. My baby has had Gerry Giraffe with him since he was born and is now 5 months old. Gerry has always worked a treat and still does. My baby sometimes wakes after only half an hour of sleep. Gerry begins to play and my baby is asleep before the first lullaby ends. I also find myself drifting back off to sleep with the tune in my head! This is the one piece of baby equipment I cannot do without and I am so glad I purchased it. The music box is controlled by a precision IC - CPU

When the unit sensor detects a noise above 75 decibels, such as your baby crying, it automatically switches the unit on.

Once activated the unit will play through the first tune which takes approximately 7 minutes. During this time the volume will slowly decrease until it stops at the end of the tune.

If re-activated by noise the unit automatically plays the next melody and repeats this pattern throughout the four graceful lullabies on the unit.

A soft light also pulsates from Becky's face to the tunes played attracting your baby's attention, while the soft music helps your baby drift back to a peaceful sleep.
